Is Bop It!
still made?
Confirmed through Hasbro’s current instructions catalog and 2026 U.S. product-pricing materials for the active Bop It! electronic game.
The short history
Bop It! arrived in 1996 and turned three plastic controls into a tense audio reflex test. Its short commands, rising speed and public failure buzzer made it as memorable to bystanders as to the player holding it.
What survived
Fast spoken commands, physical responses, accelerating play, solo scoring and Pass It group play remain the core experience.
What changed
Current shells, voices and licensed character editions vary; some versions add actions far beyond the original bop, twist and pull controls.
Current versions
Hasbro still supports the standard electronic game and has produced expanded and character-shaped editions. The simplest current units retain Bop It, Twist It and Pull It; other versions can use different motions, voices or controls.
